Ramzy Halaby

In 2004, the firm welcomed Ramzy Halaby as an associate to the firm’s
Civil Litigation and Criminal Defense Departments.  Mr. Halaby is a graduate
of the American University Washington College of Law in Washington, D.C.  

While still in law school, Mr. Halaby gained valuable litigation experience as an attorney with the nationally-renowned American University Washington College of Law’s Civil Practice Clinic and was a member of the editorial staff of the American University International Law Review.

Since joining the firm, Mr. Halaby has developed an expertise in complex civil litigation, domestic litigation and criminal defense.  Mr. Halaby has been successful in winning numerous civil judgments on behalf of his clients, including a 2006 jury verdict of $424,000 in the Circuit Court for Montgomery County, Maryland.  Mr. Halaby also has extensive experience litigating complex domestic matters as well as both felony and misdemeanor criminal cases throughout the State of Maryland and the District of Columbia. 

Mr. Halaby is admitted to practice in Maryland and the District of Columbia.
