In 2013, the firm welcomed Justin M. Reiner as an associate to the firm’s Personal Injury and Worker’s Compensation Departments. Mr. Reiner is a graduate of the Willamette University College of Law, in Salem, Oregon, where he was named to the Order of Barristers in his third year. In addition, Mr. Reiner founded the Willamette University Sports Law Journal, the first journal of its kind in the Pacific Northwest, which continues to thrive as a quarterly publication. Mr. Reiner gained valuable experience while still in law school when he competed and won both the intra-school negotiation competition and Region X negotiation competition during his third year.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Reiner was a partner at a small Bethesda firm, where he specialized in consumer bankruptcy, civil litigation and personal injury. Mr. Reiner brings a wide variety of experience to the firm, and has tried both jury and bench cases in Maryland, D.C. and Virginia. Mr. Reiner is admitted to practice in all three jurisdictions, in addition to the Federal Courts in all three jurisdictions. As a bankruptcy practitioner, Mr. Reiner has filed hundreds of cases on behalf of consumers in the metropolitan area, and has started a consumer bankruptcy division at AWBF, where he intends to represent debtors in chapters 7, 11 and 13 under the bankruptcy code.
Mr. Reiner is a lifelong resident of Montgomery County, where he currently resides with his wife and three children.
